by this point in the whole series you realize that Ben Davis can’t do any wrong. you understand that every choice is going to make is going to be good. and you understand that everybody he’s facing is bad.

I’ve listened to thousands of hours of post apocalyptic fiction. The amount of teen drama or drama in general over shadowing the fight for survival was pretty horrific. I listened to all 6 books and was happy it was over. Sorry Grace, I don’t ever leave comments, but yikes.

I love this series, and how a family comes together to survive the apocalypse. I completely recommend this.

story line is good. however I spent almost 3 hours and was barely into the actual story line. it feels tedious and monotonous. we know the normal human actions.. but the author spends too much time explaining literal things and not enough cultivating emotional reaction to the events. just lands flat. really disappointed.
