This book starts to show the true threats the MC will face. It shows the negligence of the powers. The MC also develops much needed companions. And it makes some progress on some objectives. The MC grows exponentially in strength and we start to see some headway.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this book has been on my mind, even now, weeks after I’ve finished it. I’ve recommended this book to anyone and everyone who will listen. non-spolier what to expect: this is a military fantasy that tackles family, love, duty, honor, and a bunch of others. the beginning wasn’t necessarily..
Biggest issue is that everything that happened could’ve been covered in much less time. I expected for the story to progress more with the length of the book.

It’s good. However, this book is a little different than the others. It definitely strays from the plot lines that he’s developed in the last two books. Michaels basically alone for the first half of the book and it got a little repetitive. That being said*….I think Michael grows tremendously in this book. His levels..
No better than a bad B movie. Not researched well other than the holistic. Terrible.

This is the second of this series. We were left with little cliffhangers from the last book and got all of those questions answered. But now they have new trouble that arises. I enjoyed catching up with Arlo, Trent, Bear, Laurel and all the others. in here there are things that happened that I thought..

The whole point of this book was to establish the change happening as Michael becomes a power. The enemies in this book have to be taken down slowly because there’s so much more powerful than he is but by the end Michael is back on par with the enemies. This is really Michael book one..
