Fun to read. Good humor. Good progression. Could not put it down till the end.

The character work and story line were well written and kept me entertained from beginning to end. Andrew Tell was able to breathe life into the story and made it a fun listen. I received an ARC of this audiobook and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

The EMP was just a vehicle to get Ryder out of jail. It was a good series just not what I was expecting.

The heroine was an exhausting mental case. Less from her perspective and the story would have been better. I fast forwarded through a lot to bypass her angst.

I thought it was really powerful. I expected a lot more action based on the beginning and middle of the book. Wasn’t in love with a ton of loose ends but a really amazing character story all around. The evolution of Misaki’s and Tekura’s relationship was really well done and appreciated the different take.

This is the third installment in the amazing EMP Aftermath Series, a post-apocalyptic survival fiction. Laurel and Bear’s story continues where the second book left off.
