it was good, Thought it was gonna be about 1 character and turned out to be about another, who I didn’t care for. But all in all good read. 1 and done for me though.

the folks started off a little slow but picked up. overall, the book seems like a D&D / RPG novel/game. it entertaining and had a lot of good twists and tons into it, and I mentioned to see what the series goes.
The entire thing is farcical. I cannot believe the scenarios in this thing are plausible as written. It also writes a Navy seal to be emotionally weak and indecisive, if not just dense. Just poor.

I feel the content of the book was pretty good, but the narration was very poor. I love audiobooks because they transport me to the fantasy. This magic is broken when it really sounds like someone is reading it instead of telling a story.

Most of the adventures of Jack Stratton have been nice to listen to. This one however, was more like a McGuyver story. Escape by parasail, boat, motorcycle, car….. Jack is a very lucky guy.
This is a good and intriguing storey but the authror spends all her time building the world and building anticipation for what’s to come, wich is pointless without a sequel.
Now. Something to note right off the bat is that LitRPG and power fantasy have a lot of intersection. Be this through some random amateur kickboxer stumbling into a set of abilities which let her punch ridiculously far above her weight class, an office worker turned Hunter being able to take on the world with..

Did not develop as well as I would have hoped. Do not enjoy the LGBTQ that was put in for no real reason.
