This book is so well written. I felt deeply invested in the characters and I really want the story to continue. The action, magic, love and loss is just brilliantly woven together.

So I do my best to listen to a whole series but this one was hard. Unless this was intentional for teenagers the story line was pretty predictable and completely unrealistic. Solid story Interesting races and classes.. And the development of the over arching story is the gaging and entertaining to listen to with all the base graphic and civilization building.. And overall solid character developments. Can we for the next book?.

MC is def stupid, but I believe the narrator most definitely did not help in this aspect. Made him seem way more stupid than he is. A narrator can really make or break a story and he is breaking this one for me

This book turned out to be much more than I initially thought at first. What an amazing read, I rarely reread books, however with this one, I can see myself revisiting it. Amazing world building, compromised of invigorating characters, tough choices, and beautiful emotions.
This is an amazing series and i can’t wait for the next book. I listened to all five books in less than three weeks. The only slightly annoying thing is the long periodic recaps of Micheals player profile.
