with each new book the problem is getting worse and worse i find myself skipping over large chunks of story due to the mc just talking to himself and repeating the same thing over and over.

The idea of the story is a compelling one, but thats about all the positive I can say about this book. The main character has the total opposite of a development arc, its like a regression arc. this is one of my favorites! I love the growth of the characters. I will read this book many times.

The narration is awesome. intentional inflection and tone made the story far more enjoyable. The MC is a little childish and the story sometimes feels on rails but it otherwise a good story. I think it will continue to be a good series.

The series keeps getting better, and the maim character continues to progress in power and influence.

Fantastic story, awesome narration. The story seems to go all the mc’s way, but then … the struggles give the story the depth it needs.

The book was a good progression of the series. Certainly worth your time and money.
