I really like the storyline.I really like the nice people.I really hate the rumination and repetition.It drives me crazy! It plays like an EMP soap opera. Andrew Tell is an excellent narrator. Had potential to be a great story but the repeating of their storylines and paths left me bored and frustrated…. There is another review that reads “must have gotten paid by the word” that is 100% accurate.
This book was very poorly written. Maybe the writer was dipping his pen in the Litrpg category for fun but he clearly doesn’t understand what a novel of this genera needs. Very disappointed in the book I purchased.

We have listened to sever lit rpg book series and this is the first that scratched my base builder itch. The power creep is not as bad as some books and the story moves along well . Overall it’s good and I can’t wait for book two.

Started out good, but by the 3rd book, I was skipping huge sections. Began to be repetitive and the narration was basically the same voice for all the men and a different voice for all the women. By the end I only listened to the final chapter and epilog of the final book.
