The whole point of this book was to establish the change happening as Michael becomes a power. The enemies in this book have to be taken down slowly because there’s so much more powerful than he is but by the end Michael is back on par with the enemies. This is really Michael book one..
this whole book was one dungeon yet the MC grew tremendously and we were able to learn more about what happened with the old scions and primes.
