Starts ok kinda bland but it will pass the time but I skipped thru the last book to the end and I feel that’s the best way to listen to it you can predict every chapter

I really like this first episode. I would reccommend not using audible podcast in future books. Audible knows podcast episodes havent played in order for atleast 3 years and I have quit this book multiple times because it autoplays the end episodes instead of going to the next sequential episode. It really ruins the experience…

The narrator was good. The plot was well laid out, and I enjoyed the pace at which plot points unraveled.
Hi, truly loved the story about Megan. And how she protected her daughter through all of the post apocalyptic trials. It’s a story that truly helps you believe that Family doesn’t have to be blood related. A very heart touching story.

A powerful tale of people trapped in a rigid society where one does not question authority or act beyond your role. M L Wang has set interesting characters in Japanese based class system with elemental magic similar to The Last Airbender. Filled with drama and amazing action and tragedy, this book pulls at the emotions..

Don’t want to criticize the writer but I didn’t find this one enjoyable. Maybe the series gets better but I won’t find out.
This will be kept in my collection. It is so darn good . I just could not stop the story. Great Job ! Thank You !
Wanted to enjoy it but I guess I’m not easy to entertain. Characters were generally gullible and I’m not sure how the lead could have survived BUDS, not SEAL material in my opinion.
