This book is pretty well written, and I do like the characters involved, but the story feels…lacking. Michael’s story is very intriguing and continues to provide challenges. I like that none of his plans work out the way he wants too. But in the end he always makes it work for him. Good job Tom on the writing and Andrew narrating is amazing.

The book and MC were great, but the narrator doesn’t do the main character justice. The man just needs a deeper voice to match the way the character is depicted.
Really enjoyed this book, and the narrator did a wonderful job. however, as it was my first book, it took multiple chapters to understand the language differences and made it hard to follow until I was used to it. So it may be worth doing some research into the culture before starting.
This has it all . Action love, friendships, tragedies, political intrigue etc! It is written simply which makes people say YA and there are definitely youth perspectives and heroism. But YA or Adult, it is a good book!! No label needed
