great example of american authors..their grasp of history, mans character, fiction, naration, and how to weave it all together,to create a story as action packed, emotional, and realalistic..HIGHLY possible future…Then the ending HEALED all the gut renching tramatic details of the story..I am a product of The Citadel, and I cried like a baby at the healing ending the talented authors had..

This story seemed to jump around a lot to me. Almost like the author was like, “oh yeah. That’d be cool to add in.” This doesn’t feel like a stand alone story. It feels like a world that is just beginning to be explored I don’t think we’ll ever see the main characters from this..
The story was great with lots of unexpected turns and I liked the way the story moved from the different characters point of view. The only tiny drawback was the repetitive bullet description. It was a bit overdone in the first couple of books. The narration was very good as well! I really enjoyed listening..
