This sounded like a fun storyline, but it just wasn’t a good story. The timelines are ridiculous, the sequence of events is poor and the events felt random rather than building a coherent story.

I lose pretty much all respect for a narrator that mispronounces words… couple that with a mediocre poor technical data story and you get what you get.

These books kept me wanting to go on to the next book. These books are one of the best well written exciting books they made the EMP come true !! One of the best books I have read. Hope others read them I know they will enjoy them too!
I couldn’t get past chapter 3. It’s like being forced to sit thru someone’s vacation photos while they narrate every boring detail. Not to mention the narrator couldn’t even muster up a decent southern drawl. Save yourself!!!
