I liked the series overall. The language used in the story was a little hokey. People don’t talk the way the characters talked. Maybe it’s because they are Canadian?

Too many fantastical ideas here. The circumstances I’m which the characters find themselves it was just over the top plus the whole matchmaking side story the whole book was just over the top.
This is the worst! Do NOT waste your time. I stopped listening after the first book unable to get through it is is so ridiculous.

The story and the way the dungeon had been done was rather well written as was the dungeon progression mechanics. The MC however was rather lacking and his past supposed knowledge from his other life quickly becomes forgotten/useless. The class system and synergies let alone the main character’s choices made literally no sense to me..

I like this book. It was easy to listen to while I was working. If you missed a couple chapters because you weren’t paying close attention you could pick it up easily. I like books like this when I’m working.
