Why the heck would you stick around a moonshine camp knowing more Appalachian freaks were in the area and would 100% be coming after the explosion???? Good story without a lot of senseless violence, but a healthy dose of probably accurate action.
It did a lot of universe building and character development only to leave you with no real resolution. There’s a whole subplot of someone building a powerful orphan army but there’s no sequel.
