I really struggled to finish . I got so tired of him repeating the same thing over again I will not listen or read any more books by Mike Kraus. I pushed through most of it only because I paid for it.
Too much internal thinking and overthinking of his choices. Pretty much no world building I feel like there’s no character development outside of fighting it’s a basic story that drawn out for no reason.
the first is they just send them off with no training just because they get a certain class to and go adventuring. second the main character sometimes annoyed me
