Good story. The main characters act honorably in the face of dark circumstances. I also liked that it wasn’t full of cussing (that isn’t very common).

These books are interesting and fun but to make the story move the way the author wants the main char often will win a fight with a dozen people or even 2 dozen .. 20-40levels higher and win and then later fight 2 or 3 even lower level than himself and almost lost.. stops using..

Wow you gut me… I don’t think any parent should read this, it’s that horrifying. But… Great world building! I genuinely wasn’t sold on the romance. Thought it was toxic.

Good, tight writung. A few too many creature-feature elements for my tast, however. An excellent story that resonates with truth.

Only one complaint. The lady chapter seems to set up a sequel then I read the author is not planning one. Which makes me wonder why he wrote the final chapter. Irritating

This was a great read. I’ve read other EMP books and I really like how they added the dogs to this one. The story was well written and had a good plot without being too graphic on the dangers.
