The storyline is good . I did return this book without finishing it . I found it too wordy , every detail ,every action and too much of what the characters say is explained . I don’t know how old this author is but the writing passes for a high school student .

while I was torn between a 4 or 5 star review I decided to give it 5 because for me it seemed like a very fresh take for the genre. there is a little too much internal conversation with the main character but I really enjoyed the mystery of it all, it’s a dark thriller..
The was a great action, adventure tale with a side dish of mystery.Thorougly enjoyed this story and listened to the entire story while doing some chores around the house on a rainy day. It certainly kept me entertained to the point that the afternoon went by quickly.

This series is really fun and funny with a great sense of dark humor and crazy overpowered adventures. I will definitely be getting the next book in this series when it comes out! (Broken trilogy indeed)
