I liked the story. clearly with a lot of Asian influences. The narrator seems to mispronounce some of the “Japanese” which is a little annoying if you are aware. otherwise great performance.

It’s a fine story line and the reader is fine, but the caliber of story is for the middle schooler rather than an adult. Stilted reading with overly explanatory exposition. The main character is both dense and intelligent depending what needs to be explained.
