I am on my 5th or 6th book of this series and I love them! It’s serious but humerus too! Jack is so lovable and Replacement is something else! The narrator is perfect for these too!

Fantastic plot, great magic system, incredible characters, great character growth, not a predictable storyline. He showed me an amazing world while focusing on a single village. The story stands by itself but could be a great beginning to a epic tale. Well done!

Narration is good, but the story is a bit too long, has lots of little inconsistencies, often very unnecessarily slow and boring for long periods of time.
