The fact that no spoilers for the next book is even an issue, points to Miller’s questionable decisions. Luckily he didn’t repeat his spoilers from Dark Road 15, Dark waters 1. Otherwise an excellent book. The 4/5 is for the spoilers from book 1.

With plausible survival details, the family-focused story keeps you interested—an excellent series for anyone who enjoys post-apocalyptic fiction.
