Review from Jacks Are Wild →
full of criminal Justice errors. written for young readers. whiny tone and unbelievable syntaxes. sigh
Has to be the weakest group of people I’ve ever heard about in a story no back bone they act like a bunch of Yankees even though they come from Texas and Mexico
A tale about heroes, parenthood, life paths and love. This book follows two characters: Mamoru, first born of four boys in the Matsuda family, the greatest warrior family in Takayubi; and his mother, Misaki, a trained warrior raised to be a housewife, married to aloof Matsuda Takeru. I believe I’ve never cried this much over..
This is one of my favorite (probably my favorite tbh) book series I have ever listened to!! I love the narrator’s voice and the storylines are amazing!!! The author’s descriptions and words make me feel as though I’m watching a movie!!! I wish they would make this series into a movie series!!!!! Absolutely love it!!!!!!!..
This is a new author for me.. Gripping from Start to finish. I will probably re-read soon! loved it!
Review from The Sword of Kaigen: A Theonite War Story →
It’s slow to start, but TOTALLY worth it! The author writes with true empathy for the characters. Excellent world and culture building. Believable characters in a fictional world. I look forward to other works from this author!
At first the writing is excellent. The action scenes are great, the character building is believable and it’s an enjoyable story. With this in mind it could be the story for you. “Spoilers after this point” You might enjoy it if you enjoy building an attachment to the main characters just for them to die…
Great story for those long winter nights in front of the fireplace. Easy read and good character development.
