I love the world that has been built up, so many creative ideas that’s simply brilliant in their own way, There’s many things to like about this series. That said, the romance between the two side-characters really ruins it. not because it’s a gay romance, but because it goes from “a character has a crush”..
This is mostly a story & has ALOT of discussions, with LITTLE action, humor or magic. Character interplay can be interesting & if you like GOSSIP / DICCUSSIONS, you may like this book. SOO MUCH unnecessary info, done multiple ways, MULTIPLE times each: Example #1, 5+ min of history / world building. #2 sit around..

I do feel like the story could of used another book so we could of seen what the MC could have done on her own. at the same time am glad will how it ended. do hope we see more of this world her and others stories in it.
way to many things that should not have happened. Not realistic at all. I don’t want to give away anything but a good book to waste some time.
At times I got tired of the constant fighting and fleeing, and I could pretty much tell, partly at least, how the story was going to end. That being said, Marko did have a couple of surprises up his sleeve, one good and one bad. I could empathize with Daniel as he struggled with questions..
I went into this book blind. obviously I have seen many recommendations, but did not not what to expect. it is similar to a play with different acts. the focus of the story changes 2 or 3 times. it’s very good, but I wasn’t expecting the changes. definitely give it a listen.
