by the middle of the book The Plot really started to drag and then the woke agenda started really hitting hard to the point where it kind of pulls you out of the story. which is a real shame because the other two books were really good.

The story and characters were ok except that it was just awful. I was cringing at the inner dialogue of the characters. It was either so cliché and predictable or stupid. Then paired with the sing songy voice of the narrator and the way he distinctly says every word like he’s talking to a 5..
So, I gave this a try and oh how foolish was I to think this was anything but a waste of a time. This was straight garbage, nothing else. Think about it before you buy this, it’s written for children who want a funny anime written in book form. I really should’ve checked more reviews..
For no reason in particular, I did not have high expectations for the series. I, however, was very quickly drawn into the story. The storyline progressed quite well and the characters were very easy to become acquainted with. Good action, both ups and downs to get you in the feels. The story was very well..
i normally LOVE apocalypse stories,, but this one was hard for me to finish.. the main character *wow*. way too much. was manic like someone who needed medication, almost bipolar. terminology needs help. like on guns, the helicopter, really too much to list. and the skills of the former navy seal. just say More research..
Overly verbose

I was hoping to snag a good 3 book value. Sometimes it felt like the author got lost in the thoughts of the characters and at times choices just seemed very unrealistic. I also had a tough time with the narrator or it was the way the story went. I listened to all three books..
very hard to stay interested
