The main character is a man with no identity but angry tough guy dead cop & failed husband as the story goes on I found myself not caring
After the outbreak is a fun little PA survival series. The book follows the story of a group of characters that find eachother after an apocalyptic virus takes out most of the population of the world. It begins by following a few different characters and their different experiences just prior to the outbreak and after..
This was a Very Good Story about Bai, a young seamstress who looses Everything, and I mean Everything! After a whole lot of running and fighting, she finds out that it was really her own inner Power that causes the whole thing. A Good Story about what happens when you give a small group of..
After 10 chapters I had no idea what was going on, and I hadn’t met a character I cared to learn the fate of. Maybe it improves? I doubt I’ll find out. The only character that really sticks with after 10 chapters is a delusional and terrible “writer” whose behaviour is just over the top…
Heart of Defiance is another expertly crafted tale in by Ryan Kirk. Seriously, this man is a master at Asian themed fantasy. His action scenes are vivid, his world building is complex, and his characterization truly sets his work apart and servers to breathe life into the story. Couple theses things with Andrew Tell’s narration..
Kirk writes an interesting talenof taking a man who knew little of the world or the universe and giving him more than he’d ever thought was possible. It was a fun and interesting story arc as Tev learned about his place in universe and how he could find his place in it.

The main character has a very interesting power and very very little exploration was done on ways to use it. It is simple to trigger yet when the time comes..
Started out very promising but quickly took a turn towards mediocracy, at best.Very weak character development, circular plot, bad writing. I must have heard the word “had” 38474292947437 times in the book. I’m not a grammar Nazi or anything but it was very annoying. There are many many many other books in this genre more..
