was very surprised. my son recommended this book to me. I wish her other books in this series were on audible books. oh well, kindle here I come.
Although there were a few mistakes by the author, overall a great start for a EMP adventure. Looking at the series however, the audible book is very short the author is very greedy, volume 1 and 2 for example would make an average length single book.
This story picks up where book 1 left off. As typical with this genre, the plot is contrived with many illogical decisions and actions. It’s light on practical details. The characters are well drawn and Andrew Tell voices these characters distinctly and appropriately. Thankfully, the story ends satisfactorily. Note: I was given this free review..
With Mayor Filmore dead, Eustace Simpson and James Tiegan take over the warehouse and the devious plan the mayor had started. Pam Graiser, ex-policewoman was still with them. The guards employed by the mayor were now working for Eustace and they continued looting, stocking the warehouse full. Eustace not only wanted Healy’s supplies, but he..
The whole series is great, and the characters are well rounded and defined. The thinking is a little heavy worded but that is the only negative, except that the books could be longer so there are less of them.
I think in order to really enjoy this book do you need to not only suspend your disbelief, you need to beat the crap out of your disbelief, take it out back and bury it.to believe this I guess you’d have to believe that as many as every dog in the world all of a..
I didn’t even know this genre existed! Love the level up system. Found myself waiting on edge for the event that would result in some type of upgrade. Love all the characters and the character development. as the stars suggest, just love it.
The ending is kinda sad and there’s sad scenes throughout but it’s great overall and Andrew does a great job with the characters voices especially Zanders and Dkirks.
Liked the series however traveling across country the family met very few people out of thousands which wasn’t realistic. Also everyone in the series had good speaking skills which was not realistic no profanity… the series had just enough to keep me reading to the end but it could have been so much better.
