One of the best books I have listened to in a long time. Would recommend
Amazing story
Review from Nightblade →
This mystery was well plotted and it was uncertain until the end who the killer way, but the characters never seemed real. I thought this might be a YA novel. The way the two main teenaged characters talked was unrealistic. And although the book was presumably set in the present day, neither Jack nor his..
It was difficult to listen to in book 2 and actually forwarded through several sections before completely giving up.
Couldn’t finish thisUnbelievable behavior by characters. What women would go into a poorly lit park at night?Who would find evidence and not call the cops right away? Only idiots!
Very typical no twist and turns. Did not like how it was read. The expressions and voices didn’t seem “right”. Not sure I can put my finger on it. Couldn’t finish it…which is surprising because I LOVE all most anything from this genre!
This book is everything I hoped it would be.I can see setting around a campfire with the kids… It tells the stories of the vikings sooooo into this book!!!!!
I’ve been looking at this series for a long time, but I just refuse to use a credit on a book that’s under 6 hours. When this 3 pack came out, it looked like a great value and I jumped on it. It starts off ok, and I was hopeful. I’m at the 11hr mark..
I was bored. Wanted to like it but didnt feel the hype for the story. The narrator did a good job. I was left wanting more story development.
After so many different experiences of listening and reading books, this series has it all. I was sad to see it end! Narration was good, at times I wish Andrew would add more emotion in stressful situations but over all he nailed it! Looking forward to what else RK drums up, love his writing style!
