I feel the title is a accurate interpretation, was hard to start the book with the way the story starts and the same tone of voice making no changes. Almost made me feel I had my phone reading the book to me.

loved this story. Taken from a younger point of view made me feel I was right there with all the action. The narrator was perfect. Easy to understand and just enough spin to keep you wanting to know what next.
It helped pass the time.

It can be hard to find a good cultivator series so there is little reason to complain if you like the genre. However, this book is only middle of the road for me. The character names are uninspiring and development of cultivation is overpowered resulting in a two dimensional main character.

Typical isekai type story with gamification.The biggest pain points for me were that the MC is not that likable and the flow/sentence structure can be awkward at times.

what little I’ve read is predictable, subpar, and even cliche at this point. The moment a cop thought to himself that he could fix his marriage by giving his wife some flowers tonight, I knew those flowers would never arrive.

I have always really liked this author until this book. It does not really even sound like he wrote this tale. It seems like they were more interested in overall word count just to fill pages with too many(way too many) endless added explanations about things that did not really even matter to the story…

Andrew Tell’s performance was great, he brought life to the characters despite the writers inability to do so.
