I feel the title is a accurate interpretation, was hard to start the book with the way the story starts and the same tone of voice making no changes. Almost made me feel I had my phone reading the book to me.

When a person dies a hero where do they go? Heaven? Valhalla? Or do they get chosen by the gods of another world in the multiverse to be a hero there and combat the evil that encroaches upon that world and perhaps the multiverse as a whole? that’s what happens to one phoenix city police..
It helped pass the time.

I have always really liked this author until this book. It does not really even sound like he wrote this tale. It seems like they were more interested in overall word count just to fill pages with too many(way too many) endless added explanations about things that did not really even matter to the story…

Andrew Tell’s performance was great, he brought life to the characters despite the writers inability to do so. The story itself was good, I enjoyed the premise, but there were multiple occasions when especially during interactions between characters or between a character and the environment where the author summed up the conversation or events but..
