Great Series

Some NRA wackos found a word processor. A lot of angry, violent rape. Some attempt at a political message that is completely upside down.
Just when you think the world is normal and everything is fine, you find out (the hard way) there are other worlds out there and human trafficking is happening between them. There’s something funky happening with a certain travel agency in Atlanta and Atlanta’s finest are keeping an eye on them… but so is Asher..
I love the writing style of this book. It’s different than what I’m used to and it was very soothing
I really enjoyed this book as a whole. I wish there had been a romance, or rather a love interest somewhere, but That’s just me. It was fun and interesting and I’m already starting the sequel. However… my one complaint is how foreign they act like the current culture is to tallow. That’s just silly…
(As posted in GoodReads) What a great (somewhat) new series; of course, I really like the Jack character. It’s unclear where it goes from here, but there are all kinds of possibilities. The series has great potential! The variety of characters and backgrounds of the same is refreshing.
Ex-cop, Jim Parker, is now a 911 operator. He gets a call from a girl to say she’s been kidnapped and is just about to say where when the phone goes dead. Something has happened and Jim soon realizes that an EMP has hit. Communication is down! The only thing he knows about the girl..
Cooley has made some awesome characters and the relationship between characters are real not over done.
I did not like the storyline it was too drawn and repetitive. It was really slow and kind of boring. His other book was so good and this one did not compare. I won’t be reading anymore in this series I don’t think
great ending to a great story, loved the series from the start, and have read/ listened to it a more than once, enjoying it just much each time.
