Ben is a dumbass and whiney bitch, the author has little understanding of actual weather patterns across the US or gun knowledge. It’s also ridiculous that within weeks weeds have just overgrown everything. Thank goodness these books were free.

Too slow-both the story and the narrator

I am interested in the outcome, but simply couldn’t handle the pacing any longer. Need to strike a better balance between the introspective nature of this tale and the story itself.The narrator was talented, but also so very slow and deliberate in his speech. I sped it up and it sounded more natural.

I did like the speed and characters. Kind of a gentle story I wanted to end villains much faster. This could be a good story for young adults as lacking in violence.
