I found this audiobook disappointing and tedious to listen to. The narrator was good, the problem is the writing. As the storyline played out, it felt quite amatuer/novice/soap-opera, all the behaviors quite out of character with the scenario they were all living in. Review from Dark Hunt →
One of the things I like about this book is it gives out great info about herbs and such. I would think in the case of an EMP this would be great information. ( takes notes)Its not often that a 2nd book to a series is as good as the first. I believe this book..
Any additional comments? I didn’t read the first book of this series, but I don’t feel that I missed anything. Evidently there was an EMP and the main character and her daughter survivied. How they did this I am not sure. If this book is any indication she should have been dead the first week…

The suspense in figuring out what game was actually being played here. What does Andrew Tell bring to..
Highly recommend this series

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. As the second in this series it did not disappoint! The main characters have became a great family unit and community. I really like the tidbits of herbal medicine and how they are living not just surviving.

It’s OK

Note: I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. This was an average mystery/thriller novel. Not horrible, but not earth-shattering either. The characters felt rather blah, and the mystery itself wasn’t hard to figure out. I’d deduced who the baddie was early on, so it was rather disappointing..
weak
