He talked all about my dad’s ship and reminded me of so many good memories of being stationed in key west. Great read, onto book 2!
Would treat his wife like garbage and is shocked when she finally leaves. There’s so much time spent talking about gear that the first book was almost painful. The predictability of the storyline made this a dull read.
Addicting series. Filled with excitement. Listened to the entire series in a week. Outstanding author
It’s ok. There is some heavy handed political statements by the author. And the plot is a bit juvenile (think Heinlein or Asimov teen stories). It is well paced and doesn’t get boring.
I could not stop listening to the entire series. Sometimes I think I was holding my breath with the characters. I would imagine that this is what life would be like if this would happen. I also loved each character’s growth in the story. These books are truly unique and inspiring.
This one is just one long battle that I’m over. It’s taking me a longer time to get through this one
I have listened to all 15 books. I loved how the author wrote from the person’s mind (point of view) and held there like you were seeing it as well as the character. Ive listened only to one other book that describes in great detail as to what would take place if an EMP was..
I was hoping to enjoy the book more than I did. Although the author did a fair job of character description and development, they were also stereotypical. The storyline was very predictable and I picked up the clues before the teenage sleuth in the book did. The whiny, simple dialogue made me think the book..
