Not impressed, made it to ‘book 4’ before I gave up. Very direct move-by-move writing, lacking character and plot development, poor pacing (really… 24 hours after a bomb the US is practically devoid of people?). Seems more like a well done book outline/draft than an actual published book. Also borders between YA and adult, but..
Liked it. Great story and flows and keeps you engaged. Enjoyed and would recommend you give it a try.
The culture and setting seemed so real and interesting, the story was easy to follow but difficult to predict, lots of motivations and internal dialogue added weight and perspective to scenes and characters that truly will be in my mind for years to come. Perspective is such an interesting thing. Great leads and supporting characters..
This is a really good series and Bruno Miller has really found his groove with this entry. I can’t wait for the next chapter in the Durango Chronicles
Could not stop listening to this. The plot, the characters, the suspense! It was narrated perfectly; you knew what the characters were feeling and ended up feeling it yourself. The details in this book were so vivid. I’ll definitely be listening to it again.
