I listen to all 15 books in the series. It was captivating, sitting on the edge of your seat, nail bitting listening. The author had intimate knowledge of warfare, weapons, and armed forces lingo!!! The magic system was interesting but the main focus is the family suffering and healing. Not a typical fantasy.

This series has been a definite page turner that i didn’t want to put down. I enjoyed this book The most so far. I feel like we see Tess growing into a better partner and trusting those around her more. I loved the nurse angle and trying to piece everything together.
