This book is almost like a warning, and a survival guide. LOTS of great, practical and realistic info, if God forbid, this ever did happen.I hope the author writes another about the trek back!

The repetition of certain phrases by not one but all characters over and over again made the characters not only unbelievable but got aggravating after a while. Also, the narrator needs to learn how to pronounce heinous. The most unbelievable character was probably Darius, who talked more like an Ivy League preppie than a street..
It’s nice to hear a different post-apocalyptic story and they did a good job. I also actually live in Maryville so it was really neat to hear them talk about areas I’m very familiar with. It was also nice to hear the narrator pronounce all the city names correctly. So often, they get those wrong..

Well, the author knows a lot about guns, ammo, and quite a bit about cars. It’s really hard to picture or describe what post-apocalyptic life would be like. Overall I think it’s a pretty good story.

I really liked the new characters and how they interacted with the main characters. It made for a great story line. I hope they show up in the future. I’ve become a big fan of Bruno Miller &Mr.Tell. (great name for a narrator!)😀
