I really like how the characters are developed in this series. The story and its depiction of family, friends and loyalty overcoming adversity is inspiring.
The end was good. It left me wanting more. I wish we had learned more about the missing parents. Seemed both a major part of the story and yet almost an after thought at the same time. I would try the second book once available but if it’s not good I wouldn’t continue the series.
I have become a great fan of Mr. Bruno and Mr. Tell while reading this series. I’m impressed with both of their different talents. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait to get to the next book!
