Dear lord, this series is boring. Nothing happens. The main protagonist spends his entire time worrying about whether or not he offended someone. I found myself frequently wishing for a zombie apocalypse. I feel like the apocalypse was written for the under 13 crowd. Even they’d be bored, tho.

This is an unrealistic and weak plot. I had to force myself to finish the book. You have to live with with the author repeatedly stating “ she fit in just under his chin”. There are many other examples of repeated phrases in a very lazy writing style.
What a masterpiece, this is more than a fantasy. M.L Wang is an auto buy author for me.
