The narrator over-dramatizes a lot of the dialogue, making it sound SO. INCREDIBLY. INTENSE. OR. SHOUTY. It just kinda makes me not love some of the characters when so much of what they say communicated with next level emotion or dramatization. I’d like to see the narrator dial it back a bit. Such an amazing and enticing series. Truly a great post apocalyptic zombie story for those who love the genre. Honestly I chose this series not expecting much but it really went above and beyond
Last 5 hours were bland, but the first part was a breath of fresh air after the previous book.
The problems in the story seem a bit repetitive and no one was ever any real danger. You won’t be against the edge with this one, but it’s a decent read.
Amazing book. She HAS to do a sequel to this richly crafted world.too many questions left unanswered

I never read such a fascinating book it embraces feelings I’ve lost to time feelings I never knew the word for, it shows how people change little by little until they are someone new it shows how deeply people are mischaracterized until you know them for who they truly are!! just another human with different..

I enjoyed the books for the most part. Some events were boring and predictable. Not a book I would listen to again.
This was a decent crime story – though not a “thriller”, by any means. Unfortunately, the narration was so terrible that I couldn’t listen to it past the 2nd chapter. Forced and far too overly-dramatic – it would have been hilarious if it wasn’t so annoying.
