The naming and pronunciation of fantasy Japanese themes and countries made it really hard to follow initially. It doesn’t hold your hand at all in teaching you what things are you have to assume or listen very carefully

The first 1/3 of the book is kind of slow but it’s soo worth it

I so enjoyed Grace Hamilton’s writing. Her characters were very believable and grew into better people as they faced so many trials. I did feel very sad as some perished in the fight of good vs evil. It was very nice to obtain this series as a box set from Audible.

Book and series are good but for the last 3 or 4 books Tom Elliot has ended the book either mid conversation or during a battle. Really needs to fix that. There doesn’t need to be a mid something cliff hanger for people to want to buy the next book, but it will start turning..

What a bunch of morons.All being led by a busybody with a savior complex. Yikes!

I listened to the entire box set, hoping it would get better. It did not. Perhaps if I were a 12 year old I would have enjoyed it more. I like zombie stories and dinosaur stories, but this was just ridiculous. Boo.

Another great installment! Can’t wait for the next book in the series!! Keep them coming Tom

I loved this book and I loved the narration wangs way of telling this story with very complicated words that I don’t know what they mean seems scary but I can still understand in the context of the book and all the heartbreaking moments almost left me in tears and all the happy moments made..

Enjoyed the story, but Misaki needed to stop babying her abusive husband. At the very least allow him to feel the shame of all the things he’s done. Disappointed with that and the ending felt more like a set up for another book that I’m not sure will come. 4 stars. I’ve never read a..

Been reading all of his books so far and I would say I enjoy the power progression of the main character and the world building
