it’s a series that’s part cozy mystery, part fantasy. the author creates wonderful characters and scene building. the dialogue and plot lines are very good.
The story is excellent and perfect for all ages(myself, my 9 year old and my 6 year old loved it) and the narration is top notch. The author managed to make 10 unique books that somehow don’t get repetitive or boring and I can’t recommend this series enough for something the whole family can listen..
A very proper lady who isn’t really a lady. A little white lie causes much consternation. And yet, Quiet lies seem to turn feelings topsy-turvy. An easy listening story with wit and charm, Enjoyed very much.
What a marvelous read /listen. Full of witches young and old most making the world better. Lots of philosophy melded into young witch’s education. Highly recommend.
Honestly just lovely, so many little puzzle pieces come together in the final book. Brought tears to my eyes with knowing just how much our simple innkeeper loved to bake bread.
“Cozy” is the word for this amusing tale, and narrator Deborah Balm’s voice is the perfect compliment. The prequal, Ale and Amnesia, fills readers in on how Bev came to Pigsend and ownership of the Weary Dragon Inn. I, like many readers (listeners) I’d expect, hoped the Rosemary bread recipe would be shared, but alas..
This collection of stories is just what I needed. A world to become part of, friends to make and laughter to be had! Took me a bit to get into it on the first book, but I will say I’m so glad I stuck around!
