First time I’ve listened to anything by this author but I thoroughly enjoyed it and the lady reading it had a nice voice! I’ll be getting all the other stories.
Great new discovery

unnecessary digressions into tedious local color. could have used some editing. surprise at the end too unconnected to the rest of the narrative.
This book needed a good editor. Apparently the writer dumped ever idea into the book. Each character was 80%, nothing fully formed. Listening to this was like a mental dodgeball session, only to be exacerbated by the annoying narration. It had promise but I list count of how many times as I needed to rewind..
Boring and took ages to get started. Very disappointing and fell asleep numerous times so also lost the plot
Good characters in this book, with a plot that twists and turns. The narrator had a soothing voice which made the main character very likable.A very good read, I will be buying more in the series.
I do wanted another author to read in between Michael Woods fantastic writing but I can’t get past chapter 4 due to the almost tiring slow style narrator – virtually croaky tones … what a shame
Loved the book, just wish they would have considered putting more things about recovery versus the story itself. However, don’t regret the purchase.
