Listening to this story after reading the book enhanced my enjoyment of it. The narrator was able to convey the style and emotions of the character in such a way that they were almost tangible. This was an excellent read, and I thoroughly recommend it, but I have some tissues handy.
This isn’t the first of her books, nor will it be the last. Sweet romance, rocky start with a dark undertone. The nararator was great. It’s listen to other things read by her, if this is a sample of how good she is.

narrator was great. this story was not truly a paranormal romance. this was a story about rebounds, bad choices, and the main character being told over and over again that her love interest loves someone else until the last chapter. then it’s all sunshine and daisies. dont waste your money or your time.
There wasn’t a moment where I thought, this would never happen. The characters, their dilmenas, their evolution, it all nicely progressed.
