Warning: Dad jokes abound

Review from Dead Tired III →

Pun Daddy is back and he’s punnier than ever! Harold, Limpet, Alex, and the Mantis girls are back in this hilarious new adventure. I loved every minute of this book. I really appreciate the puns and references to Cleveland suburbs.

Love this series! Lots of growth and humor. I hope it’s continued soon. Readers do a great job. as usual. Soundbooth picks great books.

Surprisingly entertaining

Review from Magical Girl Crystal Genocide →

I’ve never watched and know nothing about Powerpuff girls but I got Powerpuff girl vibes. I liked the isekai world. It was medieval with a cool magic system. Crystal Genocide was kind of annoying but also kind of cool. Much more complex of a character than meets the eye. The narration was spectacular. Worth a..

Best one so far

Review from Crowned in Black →

There was A LOT going on in this one. Dense with plot progression and action. For the first time there wasn’t really a new place to explore. There was a new place but the extraction was a brief part of the story. Apart from that, there was a lot of back and forth between known..

This was not bad

Review from Dead Tired III →

So this was ok it was a bit of a shift from what it was before. The limpet log was an interesting way to keep her in the story but focus on other characters. Only thing that’s a little bit draining is the almost over done puns other than that soild.

Fun with puns

Review from Dead Tired I →

Love the characters although I hate the Limpets “baby voice.” Excellent adventure with dad jokes. Alix rocks! You won’t regret buying this series especially if you enjoy a good bad guy.

Well Done

Review from Industrial Strength Magic →

All the voice actors did a great job, I could tell which character was talking at any given time. They paired well with the exciting and needy parts of the story that kept me entertained and wondering what will happen next. I give it a 10/10 with PG-13 Rating. Recommended!

Punishing Puns and OP Magic

Review from Dead Tired III →

Punishing Puns and OP Magic Harold is at it again continuing his trip into the new world of cultivators. More puns, more lessons for his student, a small army of angry mantises, and even more hidden allies. More of what made the first books fun all around. SBT again with another engaging production as I..

Lackluster

Review from City in the Clouds →

Enjoyed the first book but this one was disappointing. Kers became a crybaby simp who even lets adventurers walk all over him. Selene got even worse, instead of helping Kers retrieve the champion cores she chases a fairy around to berate them for disagreeing with her on using banned isekai weapon, then yells at Kers..
