This was a fantastic book. It could have probably been multiple books split into interesting episodes, but the author decided to take a long form approach to telling the story and building characters. I loved how people were full fleshed with biases and personal motivations. It is refreshing to see villains, known as cowles, portrayed..

This was hilarious. The cast said let’s just have fun. I’m very excited for this series! Hilarious. It’s nothing like any book. Side note I heard William Oh fought a dragon, but he never fought a dragon. He smiled at the dragon and now it’s his pet!

i always like the voices and effects in riftside, they give the audiobook more depth at least for me. and with each audiobook from the series, i start to apreciate them even more.
Is one of the best new lit RPG book series available to read currently, Full of laughs and adventure, a unique new magic and ability system to learn, and characters you’ll fall in love with. The guest narrators were a fun surprise!
Slapping mouth noises when eating auto 1 star. Seriously don’t do that. Anyway basic story was pretty good.
Spends many chapters creating a bond with a character. Then murders that innocent with no option for revival. Forces listener to endure a torture scene. Then ends the book. Apparently that is some people’s cup of tea. Done with the series, that was poor writing and repulsive!

Amazing second adaption of the books, sound performance is a lot better than the first. Especially the golum is now on the right audio level. Only Arthur the dragon is simply intelligeable with the echo, the effect is cool for her screeches but when she talks I can only understand like 10% or the words…
