Some of my favorite movies as a child were Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme films. This reminded me of those movies. I hope there are more books to come!

I really enjoy this author’s protagonists. William Oh is an amazing, fun, suspenseful read. The chapters are witty and have plenty world building. this book is hilarious. but it also has a great plot. mc isn’t over powered but uses his mind to get through difficult situations. which makes the tavern rumors even more funny. can’t wait for the next book

While I greatly enjoyed reading the story I found listening to this audiobook adaptation even more pleasurable. The voices and sound effects make it really immersive.
