A Titular Title, Wordplay Yo!

Review from Dead Tired III →

Necromancer gonna necromance, but not necessarily neck romance. I’m a fan of RPing necromancer classes basically in any game it’s an option. I tend to eschew warlock builds, yet they way Empress is written, it’s a fun take.

Ok except for the demonic Grover.

Review from Riftside 1 →

An OK story but the demonic Grover voice of the MC’s sentient weapon gets annoying. The book isn’t great. It gets smarmy and cheesy at times. Everything goes too easy for the MC. He gets super powers, a perfect girlfriend, perfect parents, perfect friends, all the money he could ever need. No challenges or hardships..

This book would be a 4 or 5 star if it wasn’t for some of the worst romance I’ve ever seen. It makes the trope of 2 characters falling in love within the first 5 minutes of meeting look like a masterpiece. Who’s ever heard of somebody as stubborn, and rich and powerful as paradox..

One Hammer to rule them all!!

Review from Riftside 1 →

This was a fun listen!! It’s a bit of a different take on the LitRPG genre. I’d say it leans toward normal fantasy with some game mechanic progression. Good development of the characters. Also a fun (and bloodthursty hammer!). Seems to flesh out the world enough to set up future books. Will definitely also listen..

Dad Jokes vs Cultivators Part 3

Review from Dead Tired III →

Fantastic performance quality, many groan inducing jokes, and an overpowered main character. It’s fun, fast paced, funny, and fairly low stakes. If you have read the first two books in this series and enjoyed them, you will probably like this one too.
