It was cute. I think I’ll read the next one as a physical book. The narration was just not for me personally.

Suitably complex characters, a unique, imaginative storyline, and good voice acting all add up to make this one of the best books I’ve listened to in a long time. Thank you for writing your own unique, creative story instead of making yet another political religious pamphlet like sooo many uncreative other authors in this genre..
A perfect oddball little of everything books. listening to the first two books together for fantastic I’m glad I stand up on them. I can’t wait to listen to more books from sound booth.
I enjoyed the book but it felt like it was in a rush and I wish it would have spent a little bit more time developing it was short could have easily added some details and been 15 hours
I enjoyed the first book and the story so far, but as many have already stated, the will they, won’t they relationship was pretty jarring and 5 hours in I just couldn’t stomach the teenage angst and relationship is. It definitely take you out of the story. Returned the book, only like the 3rd book..
Can’t wait for more books. hope there are many more to come. Walter is kinda hilarious in a twisted way.
Unless you like dialog written from a 14yr old bully’s perspective. Lots of fat shaming and faux tough guy dialog. Misogynistic and juvenile. Couldn’t make it past 1st 3 chapters. Honestly I don’t get the reviews. Wish I could get my money and time back.
I’ve been trying tirelessly to find books to fill the hole in my soul that has formed ever since I completed the DCC series. And by listening to many other Jeff Hays narrated stories. I passed this one over a few times, and I am so glad that I finally gave it a shot. This..
