I loved this book and can’t wait to see where the next adventure takes us. Soundbooth theater is doing the best audiobook work around.
The author is going for a gritty Sin City type feeling, and it works well enough. The narrator helps a ton with this. The writing is serviceable, but edgy. Which is fine. However, it also drops some heavy ick every now and then. And the author has a real “men writing women” problem going on…
My favorite skeletons! The puns are awful and make me laugh and groan right along with the other characters. I cannot wait for the next adventure. This series has easily become one of me and my daughter’s favorites! Thank you Ravensdagger and SBT for bringing this to life!
I should have realized the foreshadowing in the game show at the start. In not down for the weird relationship.
I can honestly say that I have never encountered a book like this. Having a dumb goblin as the MC was a bold choice. It did lead to quite a few comedic moments. The full cast narration was next level and you could tell they had a lot of fun with it. Overall this books..
Over and over it seems authors seek to spread a story into multiple books right from the start so they write the first one as an “intro” to the characters. You’re forced to spend a credit or cash on a half story. Also, this is not progression fantasy when the main character is already MAXed..
Macronomicon has some serious talent the way he crafts a story. You think that it’s just a happy go lucky story where Paradox gets everything going his way until blamo it’s shown that some people don’t like the way paradox is undercutting everyone. but the way the story gives you a false sense that it..
