Aliens, zombies, reptilians. Ryan Aslesen never misses. manages to mix up military accuracy with crazy scenarios and tons of action.
Although not my usual type of science fiction read, it caught my interest from the start. The narration really added to the story giving characters unique voices helping to bring the story to life. If you like military fiction this may be up your alley.
Not my favorite of his books. It is a slow burn to a more dim candle than he normally makes. Not bad at all but I feel there could have been more.
Love the cloak and dagger mixed with the military accuracy of this series. Ryan also pulls no punches in this or any of his books with the action.
Until you read the first book in the series. If you do then you will not understand 30 percent of the action and not so subtle references to what has and will be happening.
I liked it more then I thought I would. Though I know the story continues in book 2 I had hoped for more in this book. We shall see what book 2 brings, then I will have a fuller opinion.
It’s a longer book for this series. Some reviewers mentioned a specific name repeated over and over. It does get annoying at some points but over all this is well in line with the other books in the series. Not a happy ending but a satisfying one for the close of this chapter
I love the characters and the story line. Alpha men with strong women. Love, heartache, action and life! I have read many books by this author and love allOf them!
Rated R for violence, language Going through the series was an up and down road. It started off strong and most if the first half of the books were good to very good but as we got to the later part, the quality of the story began to suffer witha couple of books that felt..
