Lowell does a really very good job of building up his world in this series and its sister stories. What if…. what if there is something like a failsafe buried on Earth, and when we humans mess up too badly it’s gets activated and starts terraforming and killing everything in it’s path? New life gets a chance that way. Great idea, great execution, great book!
At times a little confusing. Hated the ending. Poe drove me nuts. What a airhead. She was so stupid. Wish she wasn’t in it or she was a Rupkey type girl. I liked August. Also like the male narrator.
I just can’t believe that everyone didn’t give this 5 stars. It has everything you look for in Science fiction/ thriller
