I like the story and the characters but have a very hard time with the use of Gods name in vane. I don’t understand the reason for such language. Other expletives are expected but not this. So so sad.

This wasn’t one of the author’s best works. A bit confusing overall. Mostly I disliked the narrator style of speaking. He continuously drops the tone of the last syllable of every sentence; like Joe Friday in the old dragnet television series. Very annoying.

This is a great suspenseful mystery. It is a standalone book but it does help if you read the previous stories. It helps with the background characters in connecting the dots. Look forward to the next one.
