Barker’s reach and ambition are boundless. His are stories you read to see how much farther he’ll go. The writing is middling but it’s the ideas that make him unique, even among other splatterpunk authors.

I really enjoyed this series. When an author is able to express their story without constant F or GD bombs it gains allot of my respect.

Yikes. Full of cliches, flat, annoying characters, and predictable plot twists. I normally love Blake Crouch, but this was a slog. This made me want to write a novel, it made it seem so easy.

loves this second book as much as the first, cannot wait to start the next one.

Its light and funny, a bit different then other Robinson titles but if your a fan of his work you will like it.

Initially it took some time for me to get used to a new narrator – I like the RC Bray teamwork and the story is hard to follow at the start with all jumping in time but the characters develop and we start to see their humanity or lack thereof. Great ending!!

I wish the author would quit killing off a lot of the secondary characters and build up some of those relationships. There were so many opportunities for other stories within this series . So many interesting characters that I personally would of enjoyed seeing developed ….

The only thing that would make this book better would be if the production team and narrator could find a way to make Cloak’s voice a little more different from the main character. It was hard to tell which was talking sometimes. Maybe adding a little background effect or something?
