Not your common, torture-the-protagonist series!

I love this series! Lots of readers may have trouble with the lack of formulaic structure but I found it enjoyable and refreshing. I love that it meanders, that it’s personality-driven, and that the most attractive quality in most characters was/is intelligence. It’s not like any other SF out there, in a good way.
