I’m a life-long lover of kaiju films. This book captures that genre perfectly. I wish someone would create a live-action adaptation, just to see Nemesis realized on the big screen. Definitely going to keep reading/listening to the rest of this series.

An excellent continuation of “Share” series, and the expoilts of Capt Ishmael Wang. Brings back some beloved characters from the beginning of the series. if you haven’t started from the beginning of this series by Mr. Lowell, I strongly recommend you do.

All the characters are dull and petty to reflect the writers view of everyone except marines. He writes a reasonable action scene but is political dullard and the book reflects it.
The series started out well written, clever and quite enjoyable. Books 1, 2, and 3 were wonderful. However, beginning with book 4 there has been a clear and steady decline in the quality of the storytelling. I have so enjoyed this series from start to finish. Very similar to the Hornblower books.
